What it does
Overview
Feminine Care 2 is used for tonifying kidney yang and Qi, dispelling dampness and removing blood stasis.
Dampness is a general term referring to excess fluid anywhere or everywhere in the body. Mucous, oil, discharge, water swellings, cysts and nodules are all considered damp.
What it is best for:
Feminine Care 2 is used for patterns of damp accumulation with blood stagnation, symptoms are:
- Anovulation with irregular menstruation
- Menses with mucous in blood
- Yeast infections
- Excessive white vaginal discharge
- Aching joints in damp weather
- Phlegm in ears, throat, sinuses or anywhere
- Tired after eating
- Mucous in stools
- Overweight
- Cystic acne, or oily skin
Why it works:
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), when you bleed, you are most deficient and vulnerable. It is extremely important to nourish the blood not only while you are bleeding but also immediately when the growth of Yin takes place. Body energy needs to move freely for this to happen. When energy does not move freely, stagnation occurs. Since the energy of the kidney system is particularly important to reproduction.
