Metagenics Zinc Tally
Zinc Tally is a simple screening method for evaluating zinc status. By placing two teaspoons of Zinc Tally in the mouth, a lack of taste or a delayed taste perception suggests a possible zinc insufficiency. An immediate taste perception suggests zinc status may be adequate.
Zinc Tally may also be taken as a supplement.

Zinc Tally by Metagenics contains:
EACH 10 ML(2 teaspoonfuls) CONTAINS:
Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate 10 mg In a base of distilled water.
How you use it:
- Hold 10 ml (equivalent to 2 teaspoonfuls) in mouth for at least 10 seconds.
- Liquid can be swallowed after tasting.
For Evaluation:
Responses to tasting 2 teaspoonfuls of this solution normally fall into one of the following four categories:
1. No specific taste or other sensation no ticed even after the solution has been held in the mouth for up to 30 seconds.
2. No immediate taste is noted but after a few seconds a slight taste variously des cribed as "dry mineral," "furry," or "sweet," develops.
3. A definite, though not strongly unpleasant taste is noted almost immediately and tends to intensify with time.
4. A strong and unpleasant taste is noticed immediately.
