Pharmasan Labs Melatonin Rhythm is a non-invasive salivary test that checks melatonin levels at three different times.  Melatonin Rhythm provides important information in the areas of:

• Three-point melatonin assessment.
• High Melatonin levels have been linked with preventing ovulation and low body temperature.
• Low levels have been linked to insomnia, immune disorders, and poor cardiovascular health.

Instructions:

The Pharmasan Labs Melatonin Rhythm involves collection of saliva at three different times in a 24 hour period. Do not take supplements or medications (unless required by your healthcare professional) until after specimen collection. Resume normal routine after specimen is collected.

1. Collect one saliva specimen 3 hours before going to bed, one at bedtime, and one 4 hours after going to bed. 
2. Briefly rinse mouth with cold water 5 minutes prior to collection.
3. Collect saliva until tube is 3/4 full of liquid, not foam. Tap tube to reduce foam. 
4. Cap tightly.
5. Ship immediately. No ice pack is necessary. Specimens are stable during the shipping process.
6. If specimen must be stored overnight, FREEZE until shipped.
